Delete your SportPair account

You can delete your SportPair account at any time, from inside the app. You do not need to contact us, and there is no waiting period.

How to delete your account

1. Open the SportPair app and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm when you are asked. The deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is removed:

• Your profile: name, email address, profile photo, sports, levels and availability
• Matches and sessions you organised
• Your participation in matches organised by other people
• Your messages and any photos you sent in chats
• Ratings and reviews you left
• Invitations you sent or received
• Users you blocked
• Any unused password reset and email confirmation codes

What is kept, and for how long

If you reported another user or a message before deleting your account, a record of that report is kept so that repeated abuse can be identified and acted on. The same applies to records of content that our filter blocked. These records are kept for up to two years.

Technical error reports recorded by our diagnostics provider are not linked to your profile and are removed by that provider on its own retention schedule, within 90 days.

If you cannot access the app

If you have lost access to your account and cannot delete it yourself, email sportpair@gmail.com from the address you registered with, and ask for your account to be deleted. We will confirm once it is done.
